Mission & Purpose

Community Relief Ltd is constituted exclusively to provide benevolent relief to people in Australia who are in need, due to poverty, sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, destitution or helplessness.

Our activities are directed at vulnerable individuals and families in South-East Queensland. The organisation does not exist for private benefit. No profits, income or assets are distributable to members, directors or associates.

Non-profit Declaration Community Relief Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation. All funds received are applied exclusively toward the charitable purposes of the organisation. This is a constitutional requirement and is enforceable under the company's constitution.

Upon registration, Community Relief Ltd will comply in full with all five ACNC Governance Standards, including purpose, accountability, governance documentation and conflict of interest management.

All volunteers and staff working with vulnerable persons will complete safeguarding training and hold appropriate Working with Children and Blue Card checks as required under Queensland law.
